Inauguration 3rd_Vinaya_Conference_Dec2017_copy Sera Jey Monastery held its 3rd International Conference on Vinaya on December 16 - 18, 2017. Speakers from different Buddhist traditions - Thailand, Srilanka, India, Bangladesh, Taiwan and Tibet participated in the 3rd conference.

celebration of His Holiness 82nd Birthday

Sera Jey Buddhist Culture Center organized a gala celebration of His Holiness The Dalai Lama's 82nd Birthday at its center premises. Prayer for the long life of His Holiness The Dalai was presided by Venerable Pare Rimpoche, the head lama and abbot of the center, followed by cake cutting and sangsol ceremony. Many Tibetans from New York and New Jersey participated in this special celebration ceremony.
