Our Mission

Preserving Tibetan Buddhist wisdom, culture, and compassion for the benefit of all beings.

Sera Jey Buddhist Culture Center is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit religious and cultural organization established in New York in 2009. As an official branch of Sera Jey Monastic University in India, the Center is dedicated to preserving and sharing Tibet’s rich Buddhist tradition, spiritual values, and cultural heritage.

We serve the Tibetan community and the broader public by offering teachings, meditation, cultural programs, and community services rooted in compassion, wisdom, and peace.
