Foundation Vision

In October 2006, Khensur Rinpoche Geshe Lobsang Palden, former Abbot of Sera Jey Monastic University, visited New York along with representatives of Sera Jey administration.

During this visit, he met members of the Tibetan community and proposed the idea of establishing a Sera Jey center in the United States.
