DHARMA WHEEL FESTIVAL (Chökhor Düchen)

Under the guidance of Chokhor Rinpoche, the Sera Jey Buddhist Culture Center of New York will commemorate Chökhor Düchen, the sacred day marking the occasion when our incomparable Teacher, Buddha Shakyamuni, first turned the Wheel of Dharma by teaching the Four Noble Truths at Varanasi.
On this auspicious occasion, a Namgyalma (Uşnişa Vijaya) Long-Life Prayer Ceremony will be offered for the long life of His Holiness the 14th Dalai Lama and all the great non-sectarian Buddhist masters.
